This comic uses a font I created off of my own handwriting. I had never created a font before so it was a long and painful exercise. I'm almost pleased with the results. Unfortunately, it took so long to make my main font that I didn't have time to make my bold font. I'm really missing the ability to emphasize certain words. I think once I get a bit more momentum in making the pages, I'll need to return to the world of kerning and cap heights. I'm not looking forward to going back and re-lettering these early pages...
Conclusion: comics are hard!
