Whew! This was a hard page to draw! 21 figures running around and laughing... At least Vidya is super easy to draw from behind.
I wrote my entire script out two years ago which makes me feel a bit like two different people. There's past-me, the writer, and present-me, the artist. Dividing the labor up this way has helped me focus on each job more. It's fun getting mad at past-me for writing visually challenging scenes like today's page but I trust past-myself to have a better understanding of the flow of the whole story than present-me so I follow her directions anyways. Oh, and I shouldn't forget about future-me, the comic rockstar. I leave a lot of work for future-me to deal with but she can handle it. She's a rockstar.
Speaking of future work I need to do, today's page marks the end of book one! I need to prepare for book two and tidy up book one for eventual printing so I'm going to take another short break. Additionally, I'm going to try updating on Mondays from now on to try and get better advertising numbers. What this means for you, my lovely audience, is the next Sweet and Sour Grapes comic will be Monday, June 6th. Mark your calendars or sign up for my RSS feed!

Book 1 to the printers?! I cannot wait to see/buy/reread it! Hooray, go comic rockstar! ;P
Gyan seems to like getting tossed by Vidya . . . unless he's just being a troll.
Huzzah for book 1! I look forward to getting it in a physical form I can drag around with me. Here's hoping for many more books after that! : )
Also I'm looking forward to the new schedule and stuff. Can't wait to see where the story goes from here!
I just caught up and have been loving all the new info about what ghosts can do and how they fit into the story. Very cool! And ha ha, I love your dissection of your three selves. Can't wait to meet your rockstar self! :D
Yay! I've been waiting a long time to explain ghost abilities and it's great to finally reveal them.
Ah~ if only I were already a rockstar... Multi-lingual, athletic, and famous... I'll get there one day. XD
Hi.
I've known about your comic for a long time. I picked up a postcard at New England Webcomics Weekend. But I finally--FINALLY--took a day out to read it all. I love this story very much.
So many characters of color! Such rich mythology! I'm looking forward to many more chapters--keep up the good work!

Thanks for reading, Darryl! NEWW was such an awesome show. I also picked up a bazillion postcards and have been slow at checking them all out. I'm very grateful you were able to get to mine. :D
