Iyare speaks with the older guard in the foreground. Tamal holds back and stays close to the prince. Tamal: I STILL THINK HE'S A SNEAK. Kaga: CHEER UP! YOU DID GOOD, TAMAL. REALLY, MY BEST BODYGUARD EVER! Kaga picks an intact cookie off of the carpet. Kaga: COOKIE? Iyare calls to Kaga and bows deeply. Iyare: YOUNG PRINCE! YOUR KINDNESS OVERWHELMS ME. FOR A HOME OFF THE STREETS, I WILL SERVE YOU <i>FAITHFULLY.</i> The prince and takes a serious pose but smiles kindly at Iyare. Kaga: THEN I WILL DEPEND ON YOU. Walking by, Iyare puts his hand on Tamal's shoulder. Iyare: TO THINK I WAS BEATEN BY A TWELVE YEAR OLD... An instant later, Tamal is twisting Iyare's arm and is holding him to the floor again. Tamal: I'M <i>ELEVEN</i> YEARS OLD. Kaga: I'M TEN! SFX: OW OW Iyare: AH- I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN.

My friend, Ran, has always been in one stage of illness or another in the two months that I've known her: fevered and coughing, recovering but not really... But this hasn't kept her from posting two gorgeous pages a week for her webcomic, The End. In other words, Ran is making the rest of us beginning comickers look bad! So a bunch of us ganged up on her and finally convinced her to take a short break and get some real sleep. I even busted out a guest comic to help fill the space. Check it out and send good vibes Ran's way!

      Wow what a fantastic and cute comic. Just got done reading all the pages and this story seems very interesting and the plot looks really good. I hope we get to see Nulu once more she is cool! One more question, when is this comic updated?

      Thanks so much! I want to go faster one day but for now, I update every Friday. And Nulu is a sweetie. The story won't feature her again for a while but hopefully you'll enjoy the upcoming chapter anyways. :D
