Lately Andrew and I have been playing with paper modeling. I decided to make models of the cast, starting with Lae and Silas. Tinkering around in Sketchup, and backed by Andrew's amazing computer know-how, we made these little mock-ups:
The whole process was fascinating: first the deconstruction of the 3D models into flat templates, then building the exact models we had imagined out of humble computer paper. They aren't finished yet but I'm too excited to keep them a secret! I'm hoping to finish coloring the models soon so we can put these cuties online for anyone to download and build. Please look forward to it. ^_^

So much purple! :O But I like how colorful it is. Do we get to learn everyone's names in this arc? :D
