Chapter 3's cover shows wooden, hexagonical houses perch high up in immense trees. There are stairways and bridges and even a container garden among the dark green branches. A light mist shrouds the most distant tree houses.

July 16th, 2010

I got some exciting gifts for my birthday this week: a beautiful fan art of Lae by Ange Story, a watercolor of me by Jeremy Creecy, and a fan cake of the jungle in Sweet and Sour Grapes by my ambitious sisters! I'm so fortunate to be surrounded by all this crazy talent.

Next week I will be attending the gargantuan geek mecca known as the San Diego Comic Con. It's my first time attending ever and I will probably be completely overwhelmed. I've been scribbling as fast as I can now to get next week's comic done early so the site will update even without me. Look forward to the first (real) page of chapter 3!

      Those tree huts look like so much fun to play in! Even people scared of heights would want to live in those! :O
      Also, I hope you have fun at Comic Con. Glad you liked the cake. :)

      Holy cow that look's cool. Have fun at Comic Con. Try and go to the G4 stage I hear they are giving free stuff away every hour or so. Just a rummer I heard. But knowing comic Con there is always free Swag every turn you take.

      Thanks Paul and sisters! I'm pretty happy with how the shading came out on this page. You can see in the vote incentive some of the crazy color schemes I went through trying to get it right. I will see as much as I can of Comic Con and hunt down free stuff! XD
