The prince leans out of the cave he's hiding in as Lae climbs rocks up to him. Kaga: LAE! YOU CAME BACK! Lae: I GOT US SUPPLIES, YOU LOOK AWFUL... She crawls to enter the narrow cave entrance and then stands up to unload her packs. Kaga: I'VE NEVER BEEN SO TENSE. A MASSAGE WOULD HELP. A cloak fwaps him in the face from off panel. Lae: GET SOME REST. WE LEAVE IN A FEW HOURS. SFX: FWAP Kaga lies down and watches Lae spread cloaks over their exhausted companions. Both Iyare and Tamal are sleeping on their backs. SFX: FWOO Kaga: WATCH OVER MY FRIENDS FOR ME. The prince settles down beneath a cloak and closes his eyes.

Continuing the comic introductions, here's another Portland-based one I met at the Portland Comic Fest: Meen Comics, by Trixie Biltmore. She's a member of Periscope Studios and very frank about the nasty things our pets do, the consequences of hasty decision making, and the terrible potential of peeps.

And an awesome artist I've recently met online just launched her new sci-fi webcomic: The End, by Ran Brown. Things are just getting started but it's already clear this will be a gorgeous comic with fascinating characters.

      Man that would be scary for Lae, being pretty much stuck guarding all on her own. Two people are kind of passed out, one is a ghost so he can't touch anything, and the prince is kind of frazzled. Hopefully they'll all recover quick!
