Original script: Kaga crouches terrified for the wounded Iyare as Tamal snarls in front of them. The four attackers close in. Tamal: I WILL MAKE YOU PAY! Then Lae calls from the trees before dropping a huge tree branch between them. Lae: GET BACK! The four attackers jump out of the way. Lae is behind the log-sized branch when the dust clears. She grins and kicks the branch towards them, making it roll down the short mound. The attackers are forced back again but this time, they step into a net trap. All four end up suspended in a sticky mess of vines. The branch rolls beneath them.

This week's page was pretty complicated for me. I spent so long on it that I don't have a special vote incentive right now. You guys will have to make due with this Nulu sketch I plan to color for the character section.

Looking for new comics to read? I recently read through the archives of Family Man, by Dylan Meconis, and really enjoyed it. There are some dark overtones to the story that we haven't learned the nature of yet so I'm not sure how family friendly this comic is. Still, if you like flowing line work, theological debate, and handsome noses, you should give it a try.

Twang! It makes me think of the noise Lae's hair would make when springing back up into it's spikes. Anyways, I also enjoyed all the dust. : )
