Original script:
Iyare is fending off a large swordsman. He manages to get underneath the third attacker's sword and push him up and back. Tamal flings the branch and its stuck blade at the third man but he jumps high up, out of the way.
Iyare: YOU MOVE QUICKLY FOR SOMEONE SO LARGE.
Then Kaga's thrown stone hits the large attacker in the gut and he gasps for breath.
Kaga: NOT QUICK ENOUGH!
Tamal is cornered by the first two attackers. His knife is caught by the halberd and pulled away from him.
Tamal: HEH, I PREFER USING MY FISTS ANYWAYS.
When the second attacker next lunges, Tamal punches the shaft of his halberd, shattering the wood.

In case you are missing Silas and Lae, you can see a nice picture of them in the vote incentive. I originally made the image to use on an under-construction Facebook page but it ended up too crowded looking. I decided something simpler would be better so it's back to the drawing board for me.

How do you like today's comic page? I feel like the flow of action worked out well. I checked out some action heavy comic books from the library to see what sorts of techniques other illustrators use. It seems I will never be finished with studying.

Tamal and Iyare have got some wicked moves but no one'll ever match Kagagi's skills. XD

lol, I agree with Allo. Kagagi's got some smooth moves here. But really, the sword scenes look pretty cool, keep it up! :D

Looking cool! I love knowing that Silas and Lae on already on their way, about to enter the scene any time now. That was a cool way to transition from them to these guys a few pages back. :)

Thanks! My poseable doll fell apart helping me draw this page so I'm glad his sacrifice was not in vain.

And I'm glad Nikki enjoys my writing. Pay attention, kids: Saturday morning cartoons can teach you story telling techniques!
