Original script: Silas floats upwards and away from Lae. He is stunned to see his hometown in ruins. Lae: SILAS? OH WELL. Lae trots down the hill and into the city. She knows the way well and doesn't pay any attention to the ruins. Silas meanwhile marvels at the city from above. Silas (thinking): THAT PILE OF RUBBLE WAS THE KORVIN ESTATE. THE UNIVERSITY IS UNDERWATER. AND THERE'S THE LAB WHERE I WORKED... LAE. Below him, Lae goes into a low building that's still standing. Sekmet is still following. Silas looks down and sees the cat look up at him before creeping into the building after Lae. Silas (thinking): IS THAT CAT FOLLOWING LAE?

Camera angles and architecture ganged up on me for this page and fried my brain. I'm happy with the finished line work though. Now if only this page didn't have so much gray stone...

I will be out of town this weekend visiting my crafty extended family. It's always fun and inspiring being surrounded by other creatives so I'm really looking forward to it. My tentative goal is to work on new paper craft patterns for SSGrapes but who knows what will happen. Maybe I'll end up designing a video game... or learning how to knit... It's hard to predict these people.

Wow, the camera angles are really fun! I'm in love with your backgrounds and scenery on this page, it's really intricate and beautiful to look at. :D
