I've been missing my wonderful tuff stuff eraser when penciling lately. It's an easy to grip, skinny eraser perfect for cleaning up my crummy sketches. But it wore down to the point that its pen couldn't hold it anymore. Like a mechanical pencil with only a quarter inch of lead, it shifted and hid and made things hard. I tried other erasers but couldn't tolerate their fatness or softness. Finally I ordered 20 refill erasers online. The lesson: I am surprisingly dependent on my tools.
