I drew these illustrations while teaching English in Japan on the JET program. They got a lot of hard use at the elementary and junior high schools I taught at. It is my hope that other ESL teachers can get some more use out of them. They print best on A4 paper.

Try enlarging my pictures to introduce vocabulary to a large class or cutting into cards for various games. Some of the easiest games are karuta, fruits basket, four corners, and any card swapping game. Many of my younger students enjoy coloring in the pictures too. More good teaching ideas can be found online. I recommend Dave's ESL Café as a good place to start.
